Keeping Busy 2021
The world-wide pandemic has affected everyone's life in profound ways. Despite the challenges we all face and wanting to at times rip our hair out Alexandra isn't letting this stop her from training and chasing her dreams. She has been busy and created and has been teaching a signature ballet class to 90's music and feel-good vibes! Alexandra has choreographed over 30 original ballet classes during Covid and is determined to stay fit and healthy. She lives for a good theme and if you do too you can tune in on Mondays at 12pm to take her class on her IG Live! @wandaaroundtheworld
Fun Fact: Her 90s free ballet class was inspired by the incomparable and wonderful Tiler Peck. Tiler has been the gift that keeps on giving with her daily ballet classes. Tiler asked what kind of music everyone would want to dance to and Alexandra suggested 90's and the next week it happened. She was so inspired and uplifted after that class that she decided to stick to it! The rest is history and also on her IGTV page! check it out!
Echoes From Carolina
Alexandra was most recently viewed in 9 Countries and 42 States while performing, virtually, with the Winston Salem Festival Ballet dancing in her first Opera "Echoes From Carolina". The show was featured in several articles being one of the first virtual live performances since Covid hit in March!
Fun Fact: "Echoes of Carolina" was written by a North Carolina "School of the Arts" Graduate who wrote the Opera and after years of being on paper saw it transformed to its stage premiere during Covid. There were many happy tears shed!
Royal Caribbean
Alexandra recently lived out her "Victoria Secret Angel Dreams" in the superb choreographed show "Three" performed on Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas and seen on her home page. She also lived out her Dancing With the Stars dreams in the exciting upbeat Bailamos. Alexandra was ecstatic to join her dream cruise company and although the show was short-lived, due to Covid, she is eternally grateful for her time with Royal and can't wait to get back on the high seas!
Fun Fact: Royal Caribbean hired the same designer from the Victoria Secret Angel Wings seen in their famous fashion shows and this is the closest she has ever felt to a Victoria Secret Angel!
Broadway Christmas Wonderland
Alexandra recently got the opportunity to tour Internationally for the 2nd time with Spirit Productions in their critically acclaimed production : Broadway Christmas Wonderland showcased in Tokyo, Japan!
Fun Fact: During her Tokyo engagement, Alexandra met one of the kindest, sincerest, friendliest Japanese gentleman God has ever created. It was fate that they met and have since become lifelong friends. While struggling with the menu at Genki Sushi in Shibuya during her first visit when she simply turned and asked for help and an angel appeared. He came to the show with his husband and wanted her autograph. His kindness and friendship only grew stronger the next year when he showered Alexandra and her cast with more love, respect and admiration. He even volunteered to be her personal tour guide and made her Japanese experience truly magical. He is Alexandra's Christmas Angel. His name is Hiroki and if you don't know him you need to! Meeting Hiroki has been one of the most joyous and enriching experiences of her life. Everyone needs a Hiroki in their life. I LOVE you Hiroki!!!!!
Aida Cruise Lines
Alexandra recently was sailing in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands as a Glam Dancer and Aerialist on the 5th largest ship in the world with Aida Cruise Lines accompanied with 20 incredible artists from around the World. She performed in 5 shows each week on the spectacular ship "Aidanova". She loved her time in Europe and the friendship's and overall memorable experience will hold a special place in her heart forever.
Fun Fact: Alexandra can be seen in the UK on Quest TV's "Mighty Cruise Ships" featuring her premiere cast of Steam Punk Circus and also being recognized to be the first cruise ship to use LNG!
Guam Magic & Magazines
Alexandra recently performed in Guam as a featured Showgirl, and Magician's Assistant in the Magic Show Zubrick at the magnificent Sand Castle Theater in Tumon. Guam is an extremely magical, untouched island full of beauty and wonder. While living in Guam, Alexandra kept very busy and said "yes dancer" to life, which has become her "coined" expression meaning live your best life to the fullest . She taught and choreographed for Body Arts Dance Studio inspiring the younger generations of Guam. She also modeled for multiple photographers and was the sublet of a featured fashion story and article. To read more click the link below!
Fun Fact: There is so much to take away from this piece of paradise but in Alexandra's nine months she never missed a show, completing 373 shows in a row! She is convinced that living with the brilliant Guam sun and majestic ocean on your very doorstep and taking full advantage of hiking and swimming on her off days was truly the medicine that kept her body so fit and healthy!
